This journal offers a structured way to document the months leading up to the arrival. The cover has a nice texture to it, feeling durable enough to last as a keepsake. Inside, the paper quality is excellent; I used a fountain pen and there was no bleed-through to the other side. The prompts are well thought out, guiding the writing process without feeling repetitive or restrictive. I found the layout to be logical, with plenty of space for pasting in scan photos and other mementos. The gender-neutral design is a refreshing touch, avoiding the typical pink or blue stereotypes. It includes useful sections for tracking appointments and planning, which keeps everything organised in one place. That being said, you have to really enjoy keeping a journal to get the best from this gift and may be a little daunting if you don't normally like to keep notes. The book itself is large and there are lots of blank pages all kept together with a spiral binding.Really well thought out journal which is well presented in a gift box. It also comes with a couple of satin hair scrunchies in a pouch - bit of a random addition but still cute. Its well printed and superb quality which will make a wonderful item to look back on when the baby has grown up.I'm sure my daughter will be delighted to receive this as she has only recently advised me that she is expecting her first child. The book includes some prompts to guide the expectant parents. Exciting times and something I hope she records carefully for the future. Happy to recommend.

This has been lovely to use as a gift for pregnancy and is packaged and designed beautifully. It provides daily “how are you feeling” type pages and then at the back has some organisation bits which is handy.Pros - package seems beautiful and would be perfect for gifting, additionally the design style is well thought out and has an expensive feel to it.Cons - I think it would have been better to have expecting mum and dad rather then mum as can feel a bit of a single gift not for a new family, additionally for the price which was high I do think it could have had more bits around planning, photo slots and just more attention to detail on beyond the daily check ins. Other books provide a little more information and sections based off the price point.

Me and my partner are trying for our next baby and this time my partner wanted to document everything to be able to look back at and also potentially nice for the baby to look back on when they’re older too. This journal was perfect when it popped up on vine and comes complete with a lovely gift box which makes it extra special. Inside the journal is layout from the start early stages of pregnancy, all the way to the end which allows you to pin point and document everything how you wish (the good the bad etc). It’s super simple to follow and the journal itself guides you to different areas which is good so you don’t miss anything. It’s an expensive price to pay but this being said it is a lovely premium item. Could make a fantastic gift :)
