At Mama & Bubba, we care deeply about the future we are leaving for our little ones. As a brand created for pregnancy, babies and families, sustainability is something we consider with care - from the materials we choose, to the packaging we use, to the way our products are designed to be loved and kept.

We are committed to working closely with our suppliers to ensure that our materials, from our products to our packaging, are sourced responsibly wherever possible. While some of our products are transported from overseas, we prioritise shipping over air freighting where we can, and aim to work only with factories and suppliers who uphold our high standards and share our values around quality, responsibility and sustainability.

Thoughtfully Chosen Materials

Our collections are designed with purpose. From pregnancy journals and baby memory books to affirmation cards and natural rubber bath toys, we believe that baby and pregnancy products should be safe, meaningful and made to last.

Where possible, we choose materials that are durable, practical and considered. Our natural rubber bath duck is made from natural rubber, offering a more thoughtful alternative to many traditional plastic bath toys. Natural rubber is soft, tactile and well suited to little hands, making it a beautiful choice for babies and young children.

Our paper-based keepsakes, including our pregnancy journal, baby memory book, scrapbook and affirmation cards, are created to hold memories rather than be quickly used and forgotten. They are designed to become part of a family’s story - something to return to, treasure and preserve for years to come.

Packaging with Purpose

We are mindful of the packaging used across our products and are committed to reducing unnecessary waste wherever possible. Our aim is to choose packaging that protects our products beautifully while still feeling considered and responsible.

Where possible, we prioritise recyclable and responsibly sourced packaging materials. As Mama & Bubba grows, we will continue reviewing our packaging choices and looking for ways to improve them, including reducing unnecessary plastic and increasing the use of more sustainable materials across our collections.

For us, sustainability also means creating products that are safe, high quality and made to last. A product that is beautifully made, carefully tested and designed to be kept is always a more thoughtful choice than something that is quickly replaced.

Our natural rubber bath duck has been tested to meet relevant toy safety standards, including EN 71 testing. This reflects our commitment to creating products that parents can feel confident bringing into their baby’s world.

Our keepsake books are also created with longevity in mind. A pregnancy journal or baby memory book is not just a purchase for today, it is something that can hold years of memories, photographs, milestones and reflections. One thoughtfully designed keepsake can preserve hundreds of moments in one place, reducing the need for multiple smaller or disposable alternatives.
